Home Learning Support Tips

Help your child continue learning beyond the weekend classroom. A few minutes of consistent practice at home can strengthen Qur’an recitation, Arabic skills, Islamic knowledge, and good character. Use these simple tips to make Islamic learning a natural and positive part of your child’s week.

  • Practice Qur’an Regularly — Set aside 15–20 minutes several days a week for Qur’an recitation, memorization, and review.

  • Review Arabic Lessons — Encourage your child to review Arabic letters, vocabulary, reading, or other material learned during the weekend.

  • Review Surahs & Duas — Help your child regularly practice previously memorized surahs and daily duas so they retain what they have learned.

  • Talk About Islamic Studies — Ask your child what they learned that weekend and discuss how the lesson can be practiced at home, school, and in everyday life.

  • Encourage Islamic Character — Reinforce good manners, honesty, kindness, responsibility, respect for parents, and other Islamic values through everyday situations.

  • Keep Learning Positive — Encourage consistency without making home practice stressful. Short, regular practice is often more effective than long sessions.
